Directions for Lamisil Treatment
- Take 1st lab requisition (maybe labeled Before/Now/or 1) to your lab to have blood drawn. Wait for medical assistant to call you with the results on whether you can begin your prescription or not. If you do not hear from us in one week please call us to find out your results.
- Go get Lamisil prescription filled.
- Start taking the Lamisil (make sure you write down the date you begin)
- After 6 weeks, go to lab take second requisition (maybe labeled 6 weeks or 2) and have blood drawn. The medical assistant will call with results. Again, if you do not hear from us within one week please call us to find out your results.
- Make an appointment to follow up with the doctor after you have your 6 week blood work done.
- When you finish taking your last pill of Lamisil you will get your last blood work done (labeled 12 weeks or 3). The medical assistant will call with results. Again if you do not hear from us within one week please call us to find out your results.
- Make a follow up appointment with the doctor
AFTER STARTING LAMISIL DO NOT STOP TAKING UNLESS YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO DO SO OR IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION. IF YOU EXPERIENCE AN ALLRGIC REACTION PLEASE STOP TAKING MEDICATION AND CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY.
